Changing the name of the educational institution in Hormozgan (Bandar Abbas) to "Coastal Campus of AmirKabir University of Technology
The educational institution in Hormozgan (Bandar Abbas) has been renamed to the Coastal Campus of AmirKabir University of Technology. According to the public relations office of AmirKabir University of Technology, based on the decision of the Board of Trustees dated June 24, 2023, and considering the necessity of continuous support for the development of the southern coasts of the country and active presence in the open waters, and in line with meeting the requirements of higher education, technology, and industrial development plans of the country in the southern axis, especially the coasts of Makran in the coming decades, the name of the educational institution in Hormozgan (Bandar Abbas) has been changed to the Coastal Campus of AmirKabir University of Technology.
The Coastal Campus of AmirKabir University of Technology is now focused on training specialized human resources, research-oriented issues in industries, creating international scientific and technological connections, promoting knowledge-based technologies, and making continuous efforts towards the development of the southern coasts of the country, especially the coasts of Makran, and guarding the sustainable educational and research advancement in the marine and coastal sciences and technologies of the country.
